CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 98-131 BY: MAYOR MUSIAL AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF THE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMST'ED IN ORDER TO SUPPLEMENTALLY ZONE THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEM WITHIN THE NEW WIRELESS TELECOMIti[UNICATION FACILITIES OVERLAY DISTRICT ("WTFO") OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AS TWICE AMENDED. WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted in order to locate parcels of real property which, by their size, location and distance from residential structures, are the most suitable for locating wireless telecommunication facilities upon, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 1151 of the Zoning Code, entitled "Wireless Telecommunication Facilities Regulations and Wireless Telecommunications Facilities Overlay (WTFO) District; and WHEREAS, this Council desires to amend the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted in order to supplementally zone certain properties located throughout the City for inclusion within the WTFO district created by said Chapter 1151 of the Zoning Code; and WHEREAS, the Council, upon careful review and deliberate consideration has determined that the supplemental zoning of the said parcels of real property, which are identified in the attached map, for inclusion within the said overlay district represents a sound planning decision and is not likely to have adverse economic impact upon the owners of said properties, or upon neighboring properties; WHEREAS, this Council has determined that, although the overlay district did not exist at the time that the City's Master Plan was last reviewed, the proposed supplemental zoning of these parcels for inclusion within the overlay district created by Chapter 1151 of the Zoning Caie will not be inconsistent with the City's Master Plan for the involved areas of the City, and will in fact promote the health, welfare and safety of the residents in this a.rea of this City; and
