? <br />C1TY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-123 <br />BY: MAYOR MUSIAL <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 2,000 TONS OF STONE FOR VARIOUS <br />SERVICE DEPARTMENT NEEDS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY T'HE COUNCII, OF TBE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for 2,000 tons of stone for variaus Service Department needs, in <br />accordance with specifications now on file in lus office, and that upon approval by the <br />Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for <br />the further reason that it is necessary to provide for the city's stone requirements, and <br />further provided it receives the affumative vote of two-thirds of all members of council, it <br />shall take ( ect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />TEST: <br />, BARBARA L.
