landscaping permit, unless an extension of time is granted to the permit holder by the City <br />Engineer based upon demonstrable hardship. <br />(c) As a condition for issuance of a permit for grading, regrading, landscaping, sodding and <br />other such work, the person or persons performing such work sha11 deposit with the City <br />Engineer the sum of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per 10,000 square feet or fraction thereof <br />of parcel area for work in conjunction with the constructing of a new house or new building, <br />and the sum of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per 20,000 square feet or fraction thereof of <br />parcel area for re-landscaping. <br />(a) This deposit shall be used for checking of plans, established finished <br />grades, where necessary, and inspection and/or surveys. Costs shall <br />be calculated at forty-five dollars ($45.00) per hour for the City <br />Engineer or Assistant City Engineer and thirty dollars ($30.00) per <br />hour per rnan for the filed crew, for single family lots and ($60.00) per <br />hour for the City Engineer of Assistant City Engineer and forty dollars <br />($40.00) per hour per man for all other parcels. <br />(b) If work does not conform to the approved plans and <br />the deficiencies are not corrected within fifteen days <br />after the request by the City Engineer, the City <br />Engineer shall cause the deficiencies to be corrected as <br />provided under Section 1353.13 and 1353.14. <br />When the work has been campleted, inspected and approved by the City Engineer, whatever <br />balance remaining in the deposit may be refunded." <br />SECTIONZ: That any Ordinance or parts of Ordinances inconsistent or in conflict with the <br />provisions of this Ordinance are hereby, to the extent of any such inconsistency or conflict, repealed. <br />SECTION3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest <br />period d allowed by law. <br />PASSE ?7 k", <br />First Reading: <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading: <br />Committee: /;?- `x. <br />A ST.• <br />BARBARA L.
