CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 106 <br />BYL Mayor Norman T. Musial <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENTS IN BROOKPARK ROAD (PHASE 2) <br />FROM GREAT NORTHERN BOULEVARD TO THE EASTERLY CORPORATION <br />LINE AS DETAILED IN THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the necessary plans and specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, the City has received a grant for this project from the Ohio Public Works <br />Commission in the amount of $1,815,052.00 and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for improvements in Brookpark Road (Phase 2) from Great Northern Boulevard <br />to the easterly corporation line according to plans and specifications now on file in his office and <br />that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />Contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: " <br />, <br />; <br />AT7EST: ? <br />....a=' ?;. <br />z.64A_A_ (;;l) <br />Barbara L.
