( <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 98- 89 <br />BY.• COUNCIL MEMBER DEAN McKAY <br />?•, x dr_ <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY PROVIDING FOR <br />THE INSTALI.ATION OF "NO PARKING" SIGNS ON THE <br />SOUTH SIDE OF MacBETH AVENUE BEGINNING AT <br />CLAGUE ROAD AND CONTINUING TO THE FAIRVIEW <br />PARK CITY LINE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council, is aware of the fact that there are fire hydrants located on the <br />south side of MacBeth Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the belief of this Council that the lack of "No Parking" signs on the south <br />side of MacBeth Avenue constitutes a hazard for the use of said hydrants; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to conect the aforesaid deficiency by installing <br />"No Parking" signs on the south side of MacBeth Avenue from Clague Road to the Fairview Park <br />City line thereby prohibiting parking on the south side of MacBeth Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of the Traffic <br />Control File, which said file can be amended only by ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby authorized and <br />directed to amend the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon the <br />installation of "No Parking" signs on the south side of MacBeth Avenue from Clague Road to the <br />Fairview Park City line, thereby prohibiting parking on the south side of MacBeth Avenue, as <br />aforesaid. <br />SECTIDN 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause said <br />signs to be installed in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />
