0 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-42 <br />BY: THOMAS O'GRADY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TBE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR ONE (1) 23,100 LB. GVWR, CHASSIS <br />(LOW PROFILE), AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY TI-E COUNCIL OF TI-E CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for one (1) 23,100 lb. GVWR Chassis (Low Profile), for use in the <br />Service Department. Said truck shall conform to the specifications now on file in the <br />office of the Director of Fublic Service, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for <br />the further reason it is immediately necessary to maintain service to area residents and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />% <br />ATTEST: <br />BARBARA L.
