? . ,'?' ?? .. CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 98-3$ BY: 1VLAYOR NORMAN T. MUSTAT AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH POLYTECH, INC. TO PROVIDE ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN OF ICE RINK HVAC IMPROVEMENTS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended that the services of the firm of Polytech Inc. be hired to accomplish the aforesaid services due to their expertise in this field; and WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, this Council does hereby express its desire to have the Mayor enter into a contract with said firm for and on behalf of the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CLTYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with Polytech, Inc. to provide architectural and engineering services for the design of the Ice Rink HVAC Improvements. A copy of said agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "A". SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the reason that it is immediately necessary to proceed with the architectural and engineering services for this project and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor i' PASSED: AT ST: ; / ? u?G?-0c..eL ' • ?.
