CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 28 <br />BY- Councilman Dean McKav <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR IlVIPROVEIMENTS IN THE STORM DRAINAGE <br />SYSTEM IN THE BROOKPARK ROAD AND MASTICK ROAD AREA AS DETAILED <br />IN THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORTZING THE MAYOR <br />TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the necessary plans and specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for improvements in the storm drainage system in the Brookpark Road and <br />Mastick Road area according to plans and specifications now on file in his office and that, upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and <br />execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />1 <br />i <br />( , / ( <br />PASSED: <br />? <br />AT3IR?T: <br />?. <br />?, ?Barb?ara L.
