.:? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 98-25 <br />BY: MAYOR NORMAN T. MUSIAL <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH POLYTECH, INC. TO <br />PROVIDE ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FQR THE DESIGN <br />OF ICE RINK ROOF IMPROVEMENTS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended that the services of the firm of Polytech Inc. be <br />hired to accomplish the aforesaid services due to their expertise in this field; and <br />WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, this Council does hereby express <br />its desire to have the Mayor enter into a contract with said firm for and on behalf of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COLTNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an <br />agreement with Polytech, Inc. to provide architectural and engineering services for the design of <br />the Ice Rink Roof Improvements. A copy of said agreement is attached hereto and made a part <br />hereof and marked Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />reason that it is immediately necessary to proceed with the architectural and engineering services <br />for this project and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor <br />r"F F ? <br />PASSED: <br />, <br />ATTESTi <br />Barbara L.
