Musiai <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORJZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO TBE <br />AGREEMENT FOR THE ESTABLISHIV[ENT OF THE WESTSHORE COUNCII. OF <br />GOVERNMLNTS AND THE BYLAWS OF THE WESTSHORE ENFORCEMENT BUREAU, <br />AS FURTHER DESCRIBED IN EXfIlHTT "A" AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS: since 1971 the City of North Olmsted has bcen a member of the Westshore <br />Council of Govecnments and ecrtity estabiished by the Council of Govemmerrts called the <br />Westshote Enforcemerrt Bureau; and <br />WHEREAS: the Westshore Council of Govemments and the Westshore Enforcement <br />Bureau are govemed by Ageecnent and Byiaws; and <br />WHEREAS: the Westshore Enforcemern Bureau Bylaws are amendable under Article X[ <br />errtided "Amazdmerrts", and <br />WHEREAS: the meinbers of Westshore Council of Governmerrts vatecl at the meetung held <br />on February 3, 1998 to amend the bylaws, Article VI, "Finance", Section C, "Allocation <br />of costs, and as furdier described in tfie attached Exhibit <.A„ <br />NOW, TfEREFORE, BE 1T ORDAIlNED BY TBE COUNCII. OF TBE CTTY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1. - That the Mayor be and he is hereby authoriz.ed to execute an amendment to <br />the Bylaws af the Westshore Enforcemern Bareau, Artieie VI, Section C, "Allocation caf <br />costs, attached hereto. as Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2. - That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of public peace, health and safety, and for the <br />further reason that the budget for the Westshore Council of Govemmerts/Westshore <br />Enforc,ernent Bureau is now in force for 1998 and payments must be made in a timely <br />manr?er, and provided it receives the affinnative vate of two-thirds (2/3) of all members of <br />Councal, it shall talce effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor, othervnse it shail take effecx and be in force from and after the earliest period <br />allowed hy law. <br />
