., CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 98- 13 BY MAYOR MUSIAL AND THE ENTIIiE COUNCIL A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE APPLICATION OF CHRIST THE IUNG CHURCH TO ANNEX CERTAIN PR4PERTY LOCATED IN OLMSTED TOWNSHIP TO THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Christ the King Church in 1997 filed a petition with the Cuyahoga County Board of Commissioners requeating that certain territory it owns contiguous to the Cinamon Wood Subdivision and fronting on Cook Road, and which is entirely located in Olmsted Township, be annexed to the City of North Olmsted; and WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C. Section 709.031, the City ofNorth Olmsted enacted Resolution No. 97-69, containing a statement indicating the municipal services which would be provided to the territory proposed for annexation upon annexation; and WHEREAS, the Board of Cuyahoga County Commissioners, on December 17, 1997, approved the said petition for annexation and entered an order upon its journal allowing the annexation; and WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C. Section 709.04, no earlier than sixty (60) days following the action taken by the Board of County Commissioners, the City of North Olmsted must finally resolve whether to accept or reject the annexation of the said property; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to accept to proposed annexation; NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OffiO: SECTION 1: That this Council hereby resolves that the annexation to the City of North Olmsted of the certain territory located in Olmsted Township, owned by Christ the King Church, and described above, should be and hereby is accepted by the City of North Olmsted. SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Board of Commissioners for County of Cuyahoga, Ohio.
