?' <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 98-12 <br />BY: MAYOR NORMAN T. MUSIAL <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NOItTH <br />OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH POLYTECH, INC. TO <br />PROVIDE ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN OF THE BROOKP'ARK <br />ROAD REHABILITATION PHASE 2 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City has been recommended for a$1,815,052.00 grant by the <br />District One Public Works Integrating Committee for this project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended that the services of the firm of Polytech, Inc. <br />be hired to accomplish the aforesaid services due to their expertise in this field; and <br />WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, this Council does hereby express <br />its desire to have the Mayor enter into a contract with said flrm for and on behalf of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an <br />agreement with Polytech, Inc. to provide engineering services for the design of the Brookpark <br />Road Rehabilitation Phase 2 Project from Great Northern Boulevard to the easterly corporation <br />line. A copy of said agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof and marked Exhibit <br />«A» <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfaxe, and for the <br />reason that it is immediately necessary to proceed with the engineering services for this project <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of a11 members of Council, it <br />sha11 take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor <br />PASSED: `v ?, my <br />TEST: ) <br />Barbara L.
