?' CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 98-12 BY: MAYOR NORMAN T. MUSIAL AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NOItTH OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH POLYTECH, INC. TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN OF THE BROOKP'ARK ROAD REHABILITATION PHASE 2 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the City has been recommended for a$1,815,052.00 grant by the District One Public Works Integrating Committee for this project; and WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended that the services of the firm of Polytech, Inc. be hired to accomplish the aforesaid services due to their expertise in this field; and WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, this Council does hereby express its desire to have the Mayor enter into a contract with said flrm for and on behalf of the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with Polytech, Inc. to provide engineering services for the design of the Brookpark Road Rehabilitation Phase 2 Project from Great Northern Boulevard to the easterly corporation line. A copy of said agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof and marked Exhibit «A» SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfaxe, and for the reason that it is immediately necessary to proceed with the engineering services for this project and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of a11 members of Council, it sha11 take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor PASSED: `v ?, my TEST: ) Barbara L.
