E. , Civii Engineering, 1992 <br />University of Madras, India <br />EXPERIENCE: <br />Mr. Sivakumar contributes to the design of several types of transporcation projects. He has <br />excei}ern working lrnowiedge of compucer programs such as AutoCAD Release 12 wiuch he uses <br />co develop contract drawings as weil as rendetings of structural models. He is conversant in ft <br />use of several software design programs such as I-DEAS. SODA, WINbeam, MathCAD, <br />Sofcdesk, MeriinDASH and HCS. tn addiuon, he has eacperience in the development of <br />cuswmized compurcr routines using programming languages FORTRAN, Qbasic and Basic, for <br />use on UNIX. VAX or IBM compacible computers. <br />Project experience inciudes the preparation of conswction drawings meeting tte fonnat and <br />requirements of the Ohio Department of Transportation for several public agencies. Design <br />critena is in conformance with the Amencan Assoeiation of StaLe Highway and TransportatiQn <br />officials (AASHTO) SQecificarions for Highway Bridges, AASHTO's Policy for the Georretric <br />Design of Sveers and Highways, and the Marwal of Utiform T'raffic Contral Devices (MUTCD). <br />He has recently worked on the foilowing projects: <br />• ImQrovernents of Mill Road, Porter Road, Dover Center Road atd Lorain Road in <br />the City of North Olmsted, Ohio: Plans were preQared to show a nevv three-lane <br />concreoe pavemenc on Mitl Road, a widened pavenent on Porter Road, and retatod <br />details including new storm sewers, a relocated wazer line, and new signs arnd <br />pavecient maritings. Two new traffic signals were designed, and an exisdng <br />signalized inmrsectaon was modified to pravide new left tum and right aun lanes. <br />Traffic control design was performed using Highway Capacity Software (HSG). <br />+ Improvements of Miles Road, Green Road and Noble Road for the Cuyahoga <br />- County Enginer: Pnpared 3R Safety Studies and compiled traffic counts. <br />Responsible for the design of all new traffic signals along the thrce roazls, including <br />the preparation of signai wazrants.
