CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-4 <br />BY: Councilman Dean McKav and Councilman Thomas O'Gradv <br />A RESOLUTION AUTH4RIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENTS IN THE STORM DRAlNAGE <br />SYSTEM IN THE LAN5ING DRIVE AND FOREST RIDGE SUBDIVISION AREA AS <br />DETAILED IN THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND AUTHORiZING <br />THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the necessary plans and specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for improvements in the storm drainage system in the Lansing Drive and Forest <br />Ridge Subdivision according to plans and specifications now on file in his office and that, upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and <br />execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declaxed to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: f <br />r <br />4> ??.?•?-cw'o`.. <br />?Barbara L.
