CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION N0. 90-170 BY: MAYOR BON,F A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 'giEE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE CUYAHOGA COUN'IY GIIVERAL HEALTH DISTRICT FOR 'IIiE YEAR 1991, AND DECLARING AN IIKERGINCY. WI-EREA.S, the City of North Olmsted, under O.R.C. 53709.08 is a member of the General Health District of Cuyahoga County; and WHIItEAS, the City of North Olmsted must enter into a contract for the year 1991 for health services to be performed by the Cuyahoga County Health District. NOW, TEiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TFIE CITY OF NOR'iH OLNLSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A", with the Cuyahoga County General Health District to provide health services to the City of North Olmsted from January 1, 1991, through December 31, 1991. SECTION 2: That a copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the Director of Finance for authority to pay semi-annual payments under the provisions of this contract. SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure imnediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary for the continuity of health services to the residents of this City, and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall ta.ke effect and be in force immediately upon its passage. ?
