CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 90-166 <br />BY: Mr. Tallon <br />AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND <br />OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR TFE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THEE YFAR <br />ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1990, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expenditures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending <br />December 31, 1990, that the following sums be and they are hereby set <br />aside and appropriated as follows: <br />RECREATION FUND: <br />CURRENT INCREASE DECREASE REVISED <br />Educational <br />Training : $ 1,000 $ 800 - 0- $ 1,800 <br />Insurance : 51,993 - 0- 800 51,193 <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately fonaard an <br />attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to <br />draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the <br />aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and <br />vouchers therefore approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law <br />to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the <br />expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for <br />salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in <br />accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the <br />appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of <br />two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal <br />obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by <br />the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall go into immediate <br />force and effect upon its signing by the Mayor.
