CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 90-166 BY: Mr. Tallon AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR TFE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THEE YFAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1990, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION l: That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending December 31, 1990, that the following sums be and they are hereby set aside and appropriated as follows: RECREATION FUND: CURRENT INCREASE DECREASE REVISED Educational Training : $ 1,000 $ 800 - 0- $ 1,800 Insurance : 51,993 - 0- 800 51,193 SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately fonaard an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made. SECTION 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall go into immediate force and effect upon its signing by the Mayor.
