" <br />Whereas: Council wishes to transfer certain appropriations for the <br />current year ending Decestiber 31, 1990. <br />NOGV, THFREFURE, BE IT ORDAINID BY THE CITY OF NORTfi OIMSTID, <br />OOt]N'1'Y OF CCIYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1: That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expenditures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending <br />December 31, 1990, that the follawing sians be and theY are hex'ebY set <br />asside and appropriated as follavs: <br />GETIERAL E'CTND <br />Current Change Amended <br />General Government <br />City insurance <br />Fngineering Departznent <br />Traffic signal repair <br />Carbon <br />Systen line repairs <br />Systems vehicle expense <br />Sludge removal <br />83,600 ( 6,500) 77,100 <br />15,000 6,500 21,500 <br />SEWER REVIIVCTE FCIND <br />110,000 (10,000) 100,000 <br />14,073 3,000 17,073 <br />8,500 ( 3,000) 5,500 <br />70,000 10,000 80,000 <br />Section 2: That the Clerk of Council shall iimediately foxward an <br />attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoqa County. <br />Section 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to <br />draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments frcem anY of the <br />aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and <br />vouchers therefore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law <br />to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the <br />expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for <br />salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in <br />accordance with the law or ordinance. Provided further, that the <br />appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of <br />two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal <br />obligation against the City and for purposes other than those cavered <br />by the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />Section 4: That this Orclinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of public health, <br />safety and welfare, and provided it receives the affirmative wte of <br />two-thirds of all n?eqnbers elected to Council, it? 11 ?o into <br />imnediate force and effect upon its signing by Yo
