?ok .? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDIiYANCE N0. 90- 69 <br />BY: RON TALLON <br />AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING THE SALE OF FIRE <br />ENGINE N0. 4, PREVIdUSLY CONSIDERED TO BE SURPLUS <br />PROPERTY, TO S& N SADLER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OF LEX- <br />INGTON, KENTUCKY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council previousIy established a Iist of surpIus proper- <br />ty and offered the same for sale; and <br />WHEREAS, fire engine No. 4 was not purchased at said sale; and <br />WHEREAS, the City received an offer to purchase said fire engine in <br />the amount of Three Thousand Five Hundred DolIars ($3,500.00); <br />WHEREAS, this CounciI wishes to ratify said sale. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTIdN 1: That this CounciI does hereby ratify and confirm the saIe <br />of fire engine No. 4 as surpIus property to S& N SadIer Construction <br />Company for the sum of $3,500.00. <br />SECTION 2: That this ordinance is hereby decIared an emergency meas- <br />ure necessary for the preservation of the public heaIth, safety and weI- <br />fare, and far the further reason that it is necessary to consurnmate the <br />sale, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of aII members eIected to CounciI, it shall go into immediate force and <br />effect upon its signing by the Mayor. <br />PASSED:--Z?g??,s, 199D <br />ATTEST: <br />?JAMES A BURNS JAMES D.
