HHEREAS, The contract for *-.he Lorain Road water line relining will exceed amounts originally appropriated; and HIHEREAS, Council wishes to appropriate sufficient funds to accoamdate this contract.__ N(7W, TfiMtg'pRE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OIMSTED, COt]NTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND S'I'A'I'E OF OHIO : SEGTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending December 31, 1990, that the follawing stuns be and they are hereby set asside and appropriated as follavs: GIINIIiAL F'UND I,orain and Barton Relining Current Increase Amended 70,500 28,120 98,620 SECI'ION 2: That the Clerk of Cfluncil shall imTi-ediately forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for paynent from any of the aforegoing appropriations upon recieving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons gnployed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made. SEC.TION 4: That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the earliest date pernnitted by Arti.cle IV, Section 12, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. PASSID : 4
