The salary specified in Section 13 A- E shall be established by the <br />Director of Public Safety and the Mayor. <br />SECTION 14: That the salary ranges and amounts established for the <br />year 1990, will be effective retroactive to January 1, 1990. Salaries <br />specified in this ordinance shall be paid by the Director of Finance on a <br />bi-weekly basis. <br />SECTION 15: That the Foremen listed in Sections 6 and 7 hereof will <br />be paid time and one-half of their straight time rates of pay for hours <br />worked in excess of eight (8) hours in any one day and time and one-half <br />of their straight time rate of pay for hours worked in excess of forty <br />(40) hours in any one work week. Double time shall be paid to said <br />employees for Sundays and Holidays provided they have worked at least <br />forty (40) hours during the work week. <br />SECTION 16: That all full-time administrative and legislative <br />personnel listed in the Ordinance having completed (5) five years of full- <br />time continuous service as an employee of the City and/all previous <br />continuous service as an elected public official within the city shall be <br />considered full-time for the purpose of calculating longevity; shall be <br />paid an additional four (4%) of their base annua.l salary; thereafter <br />until completion of their tenth (lOth) year of full-time continuous <br />service after which such employee shall receive five (5%) of their base <br />annual salary; thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15th) year <br />of full-time continuous service, such employee shall receive six (6%) <br />percent of their base annual salary until after the completion of the <br />twentieth (20th) year of full-time continuous service, and during each <br />year of full-time service thereafter, they shall receive seven percent <br />(7%) of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />SECTION 17: That all full-time administrative and legislative <br />personnel listed within this Ordinance shall receive the following <br />holidays off; unless required to work by their supervisor or the Mayor in <br />emergencies, and shall receive their regvlar rate of pay; New Year's Day; <br />President's Day; one-half (1/2) day on Good Friday; Memorial Day; <br />Independence Day; Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day; one-half (1/2) day on <br />G'hristmas Eve; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and a floating <br />holiday. <br />Section 18: That all full-time administrative and legislative <br />persormel listed within this ordinance shall be entitled to an annual <br />vacation in accordance with the vacation ordinance. All previous <br />continuous service as an elected city public official within the city <br />shall be considered full-time for the purpose of calculating vacation. <br />6
