<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE Nd. 90-22 <br />BY: MR. 0'GRADY <br />AN dRDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TQ INSTALL A STOF SIGN AT THE <br />INTERSECTIONS OF PEBBLEBROOK AND WALNUT LANES, AND <br />DECLARING IT AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it is in the best interest <br />of the safety, heaIth, and weIfare of the citizens of the City of North <br />Olmsted to prohibit the turning onto WaInut Lane from Pebblebrook Lane <br />without first coming to a complete stop; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides tor the maintenance <br />of the Traffic ControI file, which said file can be amended onIy by Ordi- <br />nance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CdUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE aF OHIO: <br />SECTION 2: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby <br />authorized and directed to amend the Traffic Control File of the City of <br />North OImsted to indicate thereon the instalIation of a"STOP" sign at the <br />intersection of Pebblebrook Lane and WaInut Lane, as aforesaid. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause said "STOP" sign to be instaIled in accordance with the provisions <br />of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this ordinance is hereby declared an emergency meas- <br />ure necessary for the preservation of the pubIic health, safety and wei- <br />fare, and tor the further reason that it is immediateIy necessary to pro- <br />tect the motoring public, and further provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of aIl members eIected to Council, it shall go into <br />immediate force and effect upon its signinq by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: 0 <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE E.
