Page 4 <br />t .' • Grievance Procedure <br />Immediate Family <br />Lieutenant <br />Light Duty <br />Longevity <br />Normal Work Schedule <br />The procedure outlined in <br />Article VII at section 7.3. <br />In the case of illness, <br />Immediate Family shall be <br />parent, parents of spouse, <br />spouse and children of the <br />Employee as well as other <br />relatives living with the <br />Employee if the Employee <br />is acting as parent or <br />guardian. In the case of <br />death, Immediate Family <br />shall be all of the above <br />and brothers and sisters <br />of the Employee. <br />An individual having the <br />rank of Lieutenant in the <br />Fire Department. <br />That worl: assigned to an <br />Employee during time when <br />an Employee is acting under <br />a disability or poor health. <br />Compensation based on <br />continuousloyal service to <br />the Employer. Longevity <br />shall be computed on the ? <br />base salary and be: <br />4% after 5 years of continuous <br />service <br />5% after 10 years of continuous <br />service <br />6% after 15 years of continuous <br />service <br />7% after 20 years of continuous <br />service <br />One twenty-four (24) <br />consecutive hour shift <br />followed by forty eight (48) <br />hours off duty. HOWEVER, <br />FOR REASONS OF SHIFT TRANSFER, <br />TRAINING, LIGHT DUTY OR <br />EMERGENCY DISASTER, THE <br />FIRE CHIEF MAY CHANGE AN <br />EMPLOYEE'S WORK SHIFTS TO <br />MEET THE EMPLOYER'S NEEDS <br />THAT ARE AFFECTED BY A <br />SHIFT TRANSFER, TRAINING, <br />LIGHT DUTY OR EMERGENCY <br />DISASTER.
