` page 12 <br />12.3 Selection of Holidays shall be made by the Eriployee and subject to the <br />approval of the Fire Chief or his desigiee. <br />12.4 Selection and approval of Holidays shall not be permitted rmre than <br />ninety days prior to the day selected. Employees shall be permitted <br />to select Holidays so that no morP than three bnployees shall be off <br />duty for Holidays, Kelley Days, or Vacation at ar?y time. <br />12.5 The Dnployer shall have the right to cancel a Holiday in the event of an <br />emergency situation. An Dployee sha11 have the right ro cancel any <br />Holiday no later than 5 shifts prior to the scheduled Holiday. <br />12.6 Each IImployee who works a shift beginnirig at 0800 hoin°s on Easter, <br />Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. shall be carpensated at the rate of <br />twelve'hours Basic Hotsly Rate of Pay plus Inngevity. <br />12.7 Fire Prevention F2nployees shall be entitled to the following Holidays: <br />New Year's Day, President's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence <br />DaY, Labor Day, 7.hanlcsgivin6 Dey, Ctwistms Day, Veteran's Dqy, the <br />Dmployee's Birthday and a floating Enployee's personal use day. <br />. AR'1'ICIE XIII <br />VACATION SCf?'JUIE <br />13.1 All Enployees of the Fire Depa=tment shall receive a vaca.tion at the Basic _ <br />Hourly Rate of Pay plus Long+evity, provided.that they have been eqiloyed ? <br />for at least aze caleridar year.
