? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 92-181 <br />B Y: COUNCILMAN LIND <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION <br />AND BENEFITS TO BE PAID TO ALL PART-TIME <br />HOURLY EMPLOYEES EMPLOYED $Y THE NORTH <br />OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish the <br />pay benefits for part-time hourly NOMBL employees, effective <br />August 1, 1992, in order that they be similar to those presently <br />offered to employees of the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit <br />Authority. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the compensation to be paid to all <br />part-time hourly employees of the NOMBL shall be as follows: <br />Part-time Hourly Employees <br />Effective August 1, 1992 <br />Classification Rate Steps <br />Title 1* 2 3 <br />Bus Operator $9.710 10.46 11.95 <br />Hostler $9.165 $ 9.870 $11.28 <br />Extra Labor $4.50 to $7.00 ranges** <br />*Each rate step is 2,080 part-time hours. Part-time hourly <br />Bus Operators and Hostlers who are subsequently hired full-time <br />will remain in the rate step schedule they are in as a full-time <br />employee. However, no credit with part-time hours will be <br />applied towards their full-time employment wage progression <br />within that rate step. <br />During training period, part-time Bus Operators and <br />Hostlers shall be paid the federal arandated minimum wage per <br />hour. <br />**Extra Labor, includes summer and temporary help students, <br />other temporary employees and custodial helpers. The hourly <br />rate shall be in the range as given.
