CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 92-177 BY: MAYOR EDWARD BOYLE AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND FIXING THE COMPENSATION FOR THE DIRECTOR OF LAW OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE TERM OF OFFICE COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 1994 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1997, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, at Article IV, Section 6, requires the Council to fix the compensation for all elected officials at least thirty (30) days prior to the filing date of nominating petitions for terms beginning on the next succeeding 1 st day of January; and WHEREAS, the date for filing nominating petitions for elected officials in the City of North Olmsted is March 5, 1993; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish the compensation for all elected officials in compliance with the Charter requirements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the salary to be paid to the Director of Law term commencing January 1, 1994 and ending December 31, 1997, shall be as follows: Effective January 1, 1994 through December 31, 1994 -$60,000.00 Effective January 1, 1995 through December 31, 1995 -$62,700.00 Effective January l, 1996 through December 31, 1996 -$65,521.00 Effective January 1, 1997 through December 31, 1997 -$68,470.00 SECTION 2: That in addition to the salary specified in Section 1 hereof, the City of North Olmsted sha11 provide Health Care coverage in an amount and to the extent that such coverage is provided to non-bargaining unit administrative employees. SECTION 3: That the compensation as specified in Section 1 and 2 hereof are being established only for the purpose of complying with the Charter requirements as outlined in Article IV, Section 6, and in no way affect any of the other provisions of any ordinance relating to the organizational chart of either administrative or legislative officers.
