? <br /> <br />CITY OF NORT-I OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 92-150 <br />BY: 'II3E MAYOR AND ENTIRE COUNCIL <br />A RESOLUTION CONMENDING TEiE ACHIEVIIMIIVT BY <br />JAMIE HAUSER OF THE EAGLE SCOUT AWARD IN <br />BOY SCOUTING <br />WHEREAS, this Council and the Administration recognize and reaffirm their <br />dedication to organized Scouting; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council and the Administration further recognize that those <br />participating in Scouting, both the youths and their leaders, are an invalua.ble <br />asset to the community and the Nation, and that the ideals of Scouting, the <br />Scout Law and the Scout Pledge arecomanitments that all citizens should strive <br />for; and <br />WHEREAS, when one of our young citizens has been committed to Scouting to <br />such an extent that he earns the rank of Eagle Scout, it is truly a noteworthy <br />accomplishment; and <br />WHEREAS, JAMIE HAUSER, as a member of Boy Scout Troop 664, has participated <br />in the following activities: All Scouts Day - Honorary Official, Junior Leader- <br />ship Training Course, Stammr Camp, Memorial Day Parades, Numerous Weekend <br />Campouts, Wright Patterson Trip, Snorkeling BSA; and <br />WHEREAS, JAMIE HAUSER in achieving the Eagle Scout Award, has earned the <br />following skill awards: Camping, Citizenship, Communication, Conservation, <br />Cooking, Swimming, Family Living, First Aid, Hiking, Community Living; and <br />WHEREAS, JAMIE HAUSIIt in achieving the Eagle Scout Award, has earned <br />twenty-two Merit Badges; and <br />WHEREAS, JAMIE HAUSER was chosen to serve as the Honorary Ward IV Council <br />Member during the 1992 All Scouts Weekend; and <br />WHEREAS, while JAMIE was undertaking a11 these Scouting projects, he also <br />was an active member of Ascension Lutheran Church Youth Group, serving as <br />Treasurer for two years and playing guitar and bass for selected church <br />services; and <br />WI-iEREAS, JAMIE plans to attend Ohio State University/Agriculture Technical <br />Institute in Wooster, Ohio to pursue a degree in Landscaping Design and <br />Installation; and <br />WHEREAS, the reception of the Eagle Scout Award by JAMIE HAUSER is a <br />noteworthy accomplishment deservirg of the congratulations of the entire <br />community.
