3 <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID <br />RESOLUTION N0. 92 - 147 <br />BY: Councilman Nashar <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TfiE DIRECTOR OF P'[TBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE <br />FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CATCH BASIN, MANiOLE, SIDEWALK, CURBING <br />AND pAVIIMENT REPAIRS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID, <br />AND DECLARING AN IIKERGENCY. <br />WHIItEAS, the City Engineer has had plans and specifications prepared for <br />catch basin, manhole, sidewalk, curbing and pavement repairs at various <br />locations in the City of North Olmsted and deems it appropriate for the safety <br />and welfare of the public to construct the aforesaid improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council, having been advised of the recomanendation of <br />the City Engineer is desirous of having the Director of Public Service <br />advertise for bids in accordance with the plans and specifications now in his <br />office for the purpose of catch basin, manhole, sidewalk, curbing and pavement <br />repairs. <br />NOW UIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVID BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for the bids for the repair of catch basin, <br />manhole, sidewalk, curbing and pavement repairs at various locations in <br />the City of North Olmsted, all of which shall be in accordance with <br />specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board <br />of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute <br />the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is <br />immediately necessary to take corrective actions in order to insure the health, <br />safety and welfare of the residents, and further, provided that it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in- orce immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />? <br />PASSED: <br />A ST: <br />Ba.rbara L.
