CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 92-140 BY: DEAN MCKAY AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY PROVIDING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A STOP SIGN ON QUAIL RUN WHERE THE SAME INTERSECTS WITH PHEASANTS WALK, THEREBY REGULATING TRAFFIC ENTERING PHEASANTS WALK, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, this Council is aware of the fact that currently there is no stop sign regulating traffic entering onto Pheasants Walk from Quail Run; and VVfIEREAS, it is the belief of this Council that the lack of a stop sign on Quail Run where the same intersects with Pheasants Wa1k, regulating traffic entering Pheasants Walk is a safety hazard; and VVFIEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to correct the aforesaid deficiency by installing a stop sign on Quail Run regulating traffic entering Pheasants Wa1k; and WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of the Traffic Control File, which said file can be amended only by ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby authorized and directed to amend the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon the installation of a stop sign on Quail Run where the same intersectd with Pheasants Walk, thereby regulating the traffic entering Pheasants Walk, as aforesaid. SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause said stop sign to be installed in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to protect the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of
