CUYAHOGA COUNTY ENG?NEER
THOMAS J. NEFF, P.E.M.S.
1370 Ontario Street • Cleveland, Ohio 44113 9 (216) 348-3800
Hon. Mayor and Council
City of North Olmsted
5200 Dover Center Road
North Olmsted, Ohio 44070
Re: The Crocker-Stearns Extension
Dear Mayor and Members of Council:
Q
?
AUG1 71992.??
?
,
On March 21, 1989, North Olmsted passed legislation for the above-captioned project. In
order to honor your request for the inclusion of a six foot fence along the right-of-way
line on Hampton Drive and Quail Run, it is necessary for North Olmsted to pass a
resolution stating that the municipality will assume the non-Federal share of the cost of
the fence.
Enclosed is a sample resolution for the above-referenced project pertaining to items not
provided for in the original County/Municipal Agreement executed by the Board of
County Commissioners on April 24, 1989. Our procedure to include a fence in the project
is achieved by passage of a resolution similar to the enclosed.
A resolution is required under the provisions of Section H-1 of said agreement which
states:
"That if the COUNTY is formally requested by Municipal Resolution to include the
construction of sanitary sewers, waterlines, area sewers (drainage of area surrounding
the improvement), sidewalks, alternate bid items, or other items in the improvement
that are in addition to those now existing, and/or not eligible for County funding, the
COUNTY will do so, provided that this construction meets with the approval of the
COUNTY and the MUNICIPALITY involved in this improvement; and that the
MUNICIPALITY agrees to pay the non-federal costs of said additional construction
and the costs of engineering."
If you have any questions, please contact this office.
Very truly yours,
SHL
Paul Deichmann, City Engineer ?ma's g ?
