WHERF,AS, the 1ylayor has recomended the services of the engineering firm of Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. to accomplish the aforesaid project due to their expertise in this field; and WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Ma.yor, this Council does hereby express its desire to have the Mayor enter into a contract with said firm for and on behalf of the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. to provide engineering services for repair and replacement of the natural gas lines at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. A copy of said agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "A". SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure imQnediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is imediately necessary to proceed with Engineering services to remedy deficiencies at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Ma.yor.
