Bople, Mayor <br />AN ORDINAIVCE AUIHDRIZIlNG ANID DIRECTIlNG THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NURTH <br />OI1rISTID TO EH'.CEB IN10 AN ACREEMM WITH WESMS RESSRVS ENGIl?2.Il? & <br />SURVEYIING COIMPANY TO PROVIDE IIJGINEERIlJG SERVICFS FOR PAVIlM ANID Ixt?TNA?'F' <br />INIPItOVIIMEN'1'S IN THE DffitFIIID SUBDIVISION. <br />WHgtEAS, the Mayor has recommended that the services of the engineering <br />firm of Western Reserve Engineering & Surveying Company to accomplish <br />the aforesaid project due to their expertise in this field; and <br />WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Ma.yor, this Council does hereby <br />express its desire to have the Mayor enter into a contract with said <br />firm for and on behalf of the City. <br />NOW, THIItEFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY 7?iE COt7NCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, ANID STA'I'E OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed <br />to enter into arr agreement with Western Reserve Engineering & Surveying <br />Company to provide engineering services for paving and drainage improvements <br />in the Deerfield Subdivision. A copy of said agreement is attached hereto and <br />made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an energency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, <br />and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to proceed with <br />Engineering services to remedy deficiencies in the Deerfield Subdivision, and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />, <br />? <br />Ba.rbara L.
