L <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 92 - 75 <br />By: Councilwoman Janet Saringer <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PERSONNEL AND <br />ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES TO SEEK PROPOSALS FOR APPR.AI5AL <br />AND INVFNTORY OF CITY BUILDINGS AND CONTENTS IN THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTID, AND DECLARING AN IIMEERGIIVCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Persomel and Administrative Services has <br />had specifications prepared for the appraisal and inventory of city <br />buildings and contents in the City of North Olmsted and deems it <br />appropriate for the safety and welfare of the public to perform the <br />aforesaid services, and <br />WHIItEAS, this Council, ha.ving been advised of the recomendation of <br />the Director of Persomel and Administrative Services is desirous of <br />ha.ving the Director of Persomel and Administrative Services seek pro- <br />posals to perform an appraisal and inventory of city buildings and <br />content in accordance with the specifications now on file in his office. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TfE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUN'I'Y OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Persomel and Administrative <br />Services be and he is hereby authorized to seek proposals to perform an <br />appraisal and inventory of city buildings and contents in the City of <br />North Olmsted, all of which shall be in accordance with specifications <br />now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of <br />Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and <br />execute the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is <br />immediately necessary to take corrective actions in order to insure the <br />health, safety and welfare of the public, and further, provided that it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, <br />it sha,ll take effect and be in force imediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor.
