TO PROVIDE SERVICES INCLUDING THE REMOVAL AND <br />DISPOSAL OF LIME-STABILIZED LIQUID SLUDGE AND SLUDGE CAKE FROM 'IHE <br />WASTEWATIIZ TREAMIIV'r PLAN'r AND DECLARING AN IIKERGIIVCy. <br />WBEREAS, Bio-Gro Systems, Inc. is the sole supplier of such <br />service in the greater Cleveland area, and with a minimum of three years <br />of continuous experience in the removal and disposal of lime-stabilized <br />liquid sludge, and <br />WBEREAS, it is the desire of this council to provide for a more <br />effective treatment of sewage of the Wastewater Treatment Plant. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF 'IHE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COU1V'I'Y OF CUYAHpGA AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor <br />is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Bio Gro System Inc. <br />for services to remove and dispose of lime-stabilized liquid sludge and <br />sludge cake and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that is immediately <br />necessary to negotiate a contract for removal and disposal of lime <br />stabilized liquid sludge and sludge cake from the Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant and further provided it receives an affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PA,SSED : <br />ATTEST: <br />i ? eL .It..t'z.e- 7 ? <br />? <br />Barbara Seman <br />Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: <br />Edwar€i J.
