CITY OF NORTH <br />ORDINANCE N0. <br />Page 9 <br />OLMSTED <br />92 - 24 <br />b. At the time of death, disability retirement or <br />retirement; from active service with the Employer and provided he <br />has a minimum of five (5) years or more of continuous service <br />with the Employer, an employee may elect to be paid, for one-half <br />(%z) the value of his accrued but unused sick leave credit, based <br />upon the following: <br />Retired after August l, 1991: 400 hours, maximum payment <br />Retired after August 1, 1992: 450 hours, maximum payment <br />Retired after August l, 1993: 500 hours, maximum payment <br />Such payment shall be made only for those sick hours <br />earned by the employee while employed by the employer. Sick pay <br />shall be based on the employee's rate of pay at the time of <br />conversion. Payment for sick leave, on this basis shall be <br />considered to eliminate all sick leave credit accrued by the <br />employee. Such payment shall be made only once to an employee. <br />SECTION 11: Incentive Day <br />All full-time salaried employees shall receive one (1), <br />eight (8) hour day off with pay or may elect to be paid for one <br />(1), eight (8) hour day, for each six (6) months of unused sick <br />leave. <br />SECTION 12: <br />That Ordinance No 89-96 is specifically repealed and any <br />other Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict are hereby <br />repealed. <br />SECTION 13: <br />That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public <br />health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is <br />immediately necessary to provide for the continuity of service of <br />the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ? <br />'??- ?- ? ?,i /(,q ?- <br />ATTEST:
