R <br />ORDINANCE #92-23 <br />SECTION 13: That all ranges and amounts established for the year <br />1992, will be effective retroactive to January 1, 1992. Salaries specified <br />in this ordinance sh<ill be paid by the Director of Finance on a bi-weekly <br />basis. <br />SECTION 14: That upon the approval of the Mayor or respective <br />Director, all full-time administrative and legislative personnel, with the <br />exception of those holding Elected or Director positions, listed in this <br />ordinance will be paid time and one-half of their straight time rates of <br />pay for hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours in any one day and time <br />and one-half of their straight time rate of pay for hours worked in excess <br />of forty (40) hours in any one work week. Double time shall be paid to <br />sziid employees for Sundays and Holidays provided they have worked at least <br />forty (40) hours during the work week. <br />SECTION 15: That all full-time administrative and legislative <br />personnel listed in this Ordinance with the exception of Directors <br />hziving completed five (5) years of full-time service as an employee of the <br />City shall be paid an additional four percent (4%) of their base annual <br />salary; thereafter until completion of their tenth (10th) year of full-time <br />service after which such employee shall receive five percent (5%) of their <br />base annual salary; thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15th) <br />year of full-time service, such employee shall receive six percent (6%) of <br />their base annual salary until after the completion of the twentieth (20th) <br />year of full-time service, Eind during each year of full-time service <br />thereafter, they shall receive seven percent (7%) of their base annual <br />salary as lonbevity increments. <br />SECTION 16: That all full-time administrative zind legislative <br />personnel listed within this Ordinance shall receive the following holid?iys <br />off, unless required to work by their supervisor or the Mayor in <br />emergencies, and shall receive their regular rate of pay; New Year`s Day; <br />President's Day; one-half (1/2) day on Good Friday; Memorial Day; <br />Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving DEty; one-half (1/2) day on <br />Christmas Eve; Christmas Day; one-half (1/2) day on New Year's Eve Day; <br />the employee's birthday; and a floating holiday. <br />SECTION 17: That Eill full-time administrative and legislative <br />personnel listed within this ordinance shall be entitled to an annual <br />vacation in accordance with the vacation ordinance. All previous <br />service as an elected City public official within the City shall be <br />considered full-time for the purpose of calculating vacation. <br />SECTION 18: That all full-time administrative and legislative non <br />bargaining unit personnel shall receive one (1) eight (8) hour day off with <br />pay or may elect to be paid for one (1) eight (8) hour day, for each six <br />(6) continuous month period of unused sick leave. No month shall be <br />counted in more than one period. <br />6
