r <br />? s <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 92-21 <br />BY: <br />Mr. McKay <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATION AND <br />COMPOSITION OF THE NON-UNIFORM, PART-TIME PERSONNEL <br />OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish a <br />complement of non-uniform, part-time personnel. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Organization Chart for the non-uniform, <br />part-time Police Department personnel of the City of North Olmsted and <br />the salary ranges be as follows: <br />(a) School Guards <br />(b) Auxiliary Police <br />(c) Jail Matron/Jailer <br />(d) Dispatchers <br />(e) Off-duty Electrical <br />Maintenance <br />$ 5.00 Per Hour First Year <br />6.07 Per Hour after First Year <br />5.00 Per Hour-First Year <br />6.07 Per Hour after First Year <br />5.00 Per Hour-First Year <br />6.07 Per Hour after First Year <br />6.27 To 8.82 Per Hour <br />7.46 To 10.37 Per Hour <br />SECTION 2: That the salary ranges and amounts established for <br />the year 1992 will be effective retroactive to January 1, 1992. <br />Salaries specified in this ordinance shall be paid by the Director of <br />Finance on a bi-weekly basis. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance hereby repeals any and all <br />Ordinance or parts of Ordinance or Resolutions inconsistent herewith. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it <br />is immediately necessary for continuity of services of the safety <br />forces of the City, and further, provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor.
