CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID <br />RESOLUTION N0. 92 - 19 <br />BY: Councilman Nashar, Councilman McKay, Mayor Boyle <br />A RESOLUTION AUIffORIZING 7HE MAypR Tp ENTgt INTO A CONTRACT <br />WIT-I DETROIT ARMOR CORPORATION FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE TARGET <br />SYSTEM FOR TEiE POLICE STATION, AND DECLARING AN IIMERGENCY. <br />WBEREAS, the City previously entered into a contract with Detroit <br />Armor Corporation for a target system at the Police Station, and <br />WHER W , it is the desire of this Council to upgrade the existing <br />target system. <br />NOW DMZEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEIE CITY OF NORTFi <br />OLMSTED, COUNT'Y OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor <br />is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Detroit Armor <br />Corporation for improvement of the target system for the Police Station <br />and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary to negotiate a contract for improvements to the target system <br />at the Police Station, and further provided it receives an affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval bv the <br />Ma.yor. <br />. <br />PASSID: <br />, <br />ATTEST: <br />B bara Seman <br />C erk of Council <br />APPROVED: 3 /,g9''L <br />/Ma,y <br />Edward J.
