.?. ? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID <br />RESOLUTION N0. 92-7 <br />BY: David Lind <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF F'UBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVEItTISE FOR BIDS FOR 50,000 GALLONS OF SODIUM ALUMINATE <br />FOR USE BY THE NORTH OLMSTED WASTEWATER TREATMIINT FACILITIES <br />PLANrr, AND DECLARIIVG AN IIKERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY 'IIiE COUNCIL OF 7HE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUN'IY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OIiIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for 50,000 gallons of Sodium Aluminate <br />for use by the North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment Facilities Plant, <br />according to the specifications now on file in his office, and that upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to <br />enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure i.mmediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is <br />immediately necessary for the city's soditnn aluminate requirements, and <br />further provided it received the affirmative vote of two-thirds of a11 <br />meanbers elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Ma,yor. <br />, --? <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: ^ BARBARA L.
