After 988 hours of service or an employment period of three (3) years, and a <br />satisfactory evaluation by his/her supervisor, a part-time employee shall become eligible <br />for a rate increase. <br />SECTION 2: That all ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances ar <br />resolutions, in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed with the effective date of passage of <br />this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for <br />the fixrther reason it is immediately necessary to review part-time hourly rates for the <br />Parks and Recreation Department and to bring them in line with other part-time hourly <br />rates within the city, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members of Cou.ncil, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PAS SED: <br />ATTEST: <br />Barbara Seman, Clerk of Council <br />James D.
