<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 58 <br />BY: Councilman George Nashar <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DII2ECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE BROXBOURNE LIFT <br />STATION AND FORCE MAIN AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of improving the Broxbourne <br />Lift Station and Force Main, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the Engineering <br />Deparhnent of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an Agreement to <br />construct said improvement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for the bids for the improvements to the Broxbourne Lift Station and Force Main <br />according to specifications now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of <br />Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and execute same on behalf of <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and further, <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, <br />it shall take fect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED Jo VbEST: <br />ara L.
