RESOLUTION N0. 96-53 <br />BY: DAVID LIND <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THEE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 8,000 TONS OF <br />SALT AND AUTHORIZING TEIE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME. <br />BE IT RESOLVID BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID, COUNTY <br />OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for 8,000 tons of road salt in accordance <br />with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the <br />Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and <br />execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure imnediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare and for the further reason that it is i.mmdiately necessary to <br />provide for the safe use of city streets during the winter season, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : q'Zt4c, <br />ATTEST: <br />BARBARA L.
