. ._ . ,.. _. .... . . it .:?... . . . .. .... ..,.. _ . .. . .., . . ..__,i?,.. .,ti?,.::.aw._.*.?.-..„....r..._. ....... ..:.. ...... .. . <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 37 <br />By: Councilman Dean McKay <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />SEWER FLOW METERS AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON <br />FILE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the USEPA and Ohio EPA require the periodic monitoring of flows <br />in the City's sanitary sewer system, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications for the purchase of flow meters to <br />monitor sewage flow, as prepared under the direction of the Engineering <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into <br />an Agreement to purchase said equipment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and hereby authorized to <br />advertise for the bids for the purchase of sewer flow meters according to specifications <br />now on file in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is <br />hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and execute same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety, and <br />welfare and further, provided that it receives an affirmative of vote of two thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor.
