... .. , .... .......-..?k' M1..,a-.._.,._, _ .... ... .. .. . .. . ,.. ... .. .. . ... . .. ..... . , .._. ..... .. w.w.., ?....,,?:..., k ..-..,......,,.? .... .... . . . . <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 96-27 <br />By: Councilman Dean McKay <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 905 ENTITLED "DRIVEWAYS" OF <br />THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, <br />AS AMENDED <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, <br />Ohio that: <br />Section 1: Chapter 905 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, <br />Ohio, which now reads as follows: <br />"905.01 CONDOMINIUM COMPLEXES. <br />(a) All driveways and service roads located on private property within <br />condominium complexes and which are either owned in common are prospectively to be <br />owned in common by condominium owners shall be constructed with a minimum of <br />seven inches in thickness of reinforced concrete pavement meeting the following <br />specifications: Class C concrete; pour with four-inch slump; use membrane sealer for <br />curing; two-inch leveling course and fully compacted sub-base; steel reinforcing mesh <br />with fifty-eight pound steel per 100 square feet; concrete strength to exceed 4,000 p.s.i. <br />after twenty-eight days. <br />(b) All driveways and service roads provided for in subsection (a) hereof are to <br />be constructed with inspection provided by the City Engineering Division. Prior to <br />beginning work, a paving deposit shall be made with the City Engineering Division. The <br />amount of this deposit shall be five dollars ($5.00) per linear foot of driveway and service <br />road to be installed. The cost of inspection shall be deducted from this deposit and the <br />balance shall be refunded upon satisfactory completion of the paving. <br />905.02 APARTMENT HOUSES, COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS, ETC. <br />(a) All driveways, service roads, parking areas and unloading areas located on <br />private property serving apartment houses, retail buildings, office buildings, service <br />buildings, industrial buildings, and all buildings other than single or two-family buildings <br />shall be constructed according to plans approved by the City Engineer.
