.:,. .. . . .. <br />.. . , .... . <br />respect to load bearing capacity and maintenance such that the condition of the pavement <br />minimizes interference of vehicles entering the site from the public street. <br />905.03 DEPOSIT, DEDUCTION AND REFUND <br />(a) A deposit shall be posted with the City by the applicant for the review of the <br />plan for all driveways roads and paved areas provided for in Sections 905.01 and 905.02 <br />hereof. Such deposit shall be made by the applicant prior to any review by the <br />Engineering Department, and the required deposit shall be two hundred fifty dollars <br />($250.00) per acre of lot size for additions to buildings or for alterations in the site layout <br />of paved areas. Plan review activities shall include review of site layout plans, grading <br />plans and traffic engineering reports or studies. <br />The cost of review shall be calculated on the basis of sixty dollars ($60.00) for <br />each hour spent by the City Engineer or Assistant City Engineer in such review. <br />If the deposit is more than the actual cost, the remainder shall be refunded when <br />the project is completed, if the project is rejected by the City or withdrawn by the <br />developer. If the cost of the review is greater than the deposit, the deficient amount shall <br />be paid to the City by the developer before construction is permitted. <br />(b) All driveways and service roads provided for in Sections 905.01 and 905.02 <br />hereof are to be constructed with inspection provided by the City Engineering Division. <br />Prior to beginning work, a paving deposit shall be made with the City Engineering <br />Division. The amount of this deposit shall be five dollars ($5.00) per linear foot of <br />driveway and service road to be installed. The cost of inspection shall be deducted from <br />this deposit and the balance shall be refunded upon satisfactory completion of the paving. <br />Costs shall be calculated at the rate of forty dollars ($40.00) per hour per man Monday <br />through Friday, sixty dollars ($60.00) per hour per man on Saturday, and eighty dollars <br />($80.00) per hour per man on Sunday or a City Holiday for the field crew for inspection. <br />905.99 PENALTY <br />Whoever violates or fails to comply with any provision of this Chapter is guilty of <br />a minor misdemeanor. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or <br />on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues." <br />Section 2: Any ordinance or part of ordinances inconsistent herewith are <br />hereby repealed. <br />Section 3: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest date allowed by law.
