Direction - Add additional directions in the extra spaces or modify any existing <br />by adding to it (i.e. N can be NE, S can be SW, E can be SE, etc.). <br />c. Material Type - Enter the material type abbreviation for the corresponding size <br />and direction. Abbreviations are defined at the bottom of the box. <br />d. Invert Depth - Enter the measured depth (from top of casting to invert) of each <br />pipe if different than the manhole depth. <br />e. Lamping Observations - Use this space to record observations made while <br />lamping (visual inspection with an artificial light or sunlight via mirrors) each <br />pipe. Record what the observer sees; offset joints, root intrusion at joints, settled <br />pipe, cracked pipe, leaking joints, etc. <br />13. Comments - This area can be used for further description of any items above or items <br />not covered. Use this area to note any signs of surcharging. <br />- 3 -
