Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. is pleased to present this professional services proposal to prepaze the 1995 Sludge Disposal Activities Report required by the September 27, 1995 NPDES Permit. This proposal is based on the requirements contained in Part II., Paragraph O on Page 13 of 25 of the permit. The total estimated cost for this effort is $12,295. Our proposal includes the following services required by Part II, Paragraph O of the permit: 1) Document the amount of sludge disposed in dry tons. 2) Document the type of sludge disposal method. 3) Summarize the chemical analysis of the disposed sludge. 4) Document all problems and complaints during the sludge disposal activities. The work during the sludge dry tons calculations will include development of a Microsoft Excel worksheet. Upon completion of the 1995 Sludge Disposal Activities Report, an electronic copy of the final version of the worksheet will be delivered to the city for use by the WWTP staff to record the 1996 sludge disposal activities as those activities occur. Since the NPDES Permit requires that the 1995 Sludge Disposal Activities Report be submitted no later than January 31, 1996, we will begin these services upon receipt of authorization from the city.
