. ..?. <br />,..w.,.. .? _.:... <br />? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 11 <br />BY: Councilman Dean McK.ay <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR THE VIDEOTAPING OF SEWERS AT <br />VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE CITY, AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON <br />FILE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of videotaping the <br />sewers at various locations in the City in order to determine the nature and extent of possible <br />repairs, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared by the Engineering Department of <br />the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement for said services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to advertise <br />for the bids for the videotaping of sewers at various locations in the City according to <br />specifications, all of which shall be in accordance with specifications now on file in his office, <br />and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />contract and execute the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
