<br /> <br />. <br />Ordinance No. 96-9 <br />page 2 <br />? <br />x? <br />SECTION 2: That secdon 1701.01(b) which presently reads: <br />(b) The BOCA Basic Fire Prevention Code, 1978, <br />fourth edition, as amended by Chapters 1301:7-1 to 1301:7-7 of <br />the Ohio Administrative Code, as published by the Building <br />Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., is <br />incorporated herein as fully as if set out at length. <br />Be and same is amended and as amended sha11 read as follows: <br />(b) The BOCA Basic Fire Prevention Code, 1993, ninth <br />edition, as amended by Chapters 1301:7-1 to 1301:7-7 of the Ohio <br />Administrative Code, as published by the Building Officials and <br />Code Administrators International, Inc., is incorporated herein as <br />fully as if set out at length. <br />SECTION 3: That any ordinance or parts of ordinances heretofore adopted inconsistent <br />herewith are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the <br />further reason that it is immediately necessary to update the City Fire Code and, provided that <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: Q 16 <br />A7TEST.• ? ,( <br />BARBARA L.
