. • `,,...• .,.?.,. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 96-151 <br />PAGE SEVEN <br />If a non-resident registration is established for any of the above programs an additional fee shall be <br />charged which shall be no greater than 25% above the assessed resident fee. <br />SECTION 9: The Recreation Commissioner shall be responsible for developing and setting new <br />program and facility fees, as well as reviewing and adjusting existing fees when session length, time, content, <br />costs, etc. change. The Parks and Recreation Commissioner may annually waive permit fees to organizations <br />providing recreation services that are open to the entire community and are not overly specific to age and/or sex. <br />The Parks and Recreation Commissioner may offer program scholarships to residents based upon financial need <br />or hardship. The Parks and Recreation Commission shall periodically review the facility and program fee <br />structure, waived permit fees, and scholarships provided to make certain of their competitiveness and <br />appropriateness, as well as recommend changes to the Parks and Recreation Commissioner and/or the Recreation <br />Committee. <br />SECTION 10: All fees within this ordinance shall become effective no later thon January 1, 1997. <br />SECTION 11: That Ordinance 93-45, adopted by the Council of the City of North Olmsted be and the <br />same is hereby repealed, and any other Ordinances or Resolutions or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions in <br />conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 12: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately <br />necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is <br />immediately necessary to adjust various fees in light of present operating expenses, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />A <br />ARA L.
