<br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE AND SALE
<br />OF BONDS IN THE MAXIMUM AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL
<br />AMOUNT OF $7,840,000 FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING
<br />CERTAIN DESIGNATED STREETS IN THE CITY'S STREET
<br />SYSTEM BY GRADING, DRAINING, WIDENING,
<br />RECONSTRUCTING THE PAVEMENT BASE, PREPARING THE
<br />SURFACE AND SURFACING AND RESURFACING,
<br />CONSTRUCTING, RECONSTRUCTING AND REHABILITATING
<br />CATCH BASINS, CURBS, DRIVEWAY APRONS, MANHOLES,
<br />SANITARY SEWERS AND SANITARY SEWER SERVICE
<br />CONNECTIONS, SIDEWALKS, STORM SEWERS AND WATER
<br />MAINS AND WATER SERVICE CONNECTIONS AND
<br />INSTALLING STREET LIGHTING, ALL WHERE NECESSARY, IN
<br />EACH CASE TOGETHER WITH THE NECESSARY
<br />APPURTENANCES AND WORK INCIDENTAL THERETO.
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 94-36, passed on March 1, 1994, as
<br />amended by Ordinance No. 94-77, passed on April 19, 1994, notes in anticipation of bonds in
<br />the amount of $5,260,000 (the 1994C Notes) were issued for the purpose of improving the
<br />City's street system (i) by grading, draining, curbing, reconstructing the pavement base and
<br />surfacing, by reconstructing and rehabilitating catch basins, driveway aprons, sanitary sewers
<br />and samtary sewer service connections, sidewalks, storm sewers and water mains and water
<br />service connections, where necessary, and by installing street lighting in Cambridge Drive,
<br />Christman Drive, Hastings Drive, Stewart Avenue, Sutton Drive, Birch Lane, Coe Avenue, East
<br />Oxford Oval, Esther Avenue, Hawkins Road, MacBeth Avenue, Noreen Drive, North Oxford
<br />Oval, Olmsted Oval, Palm Drive, South Oxford Oval, Westchester Drive, West Oxford Oval
<br />and Oak Lane from its intersection with Coe Avenue easterly approximately 300 feet; (ii) by
<br />grading, draining, widening, curbing, reconstructing the pavement base, and surfacing and
<br />resurfacing, by reconstructing and rehabilitating water mains, sidewalks and driveway aprons
<br />and constructing and reconstructing storm sewers and catch basins, where necessary, and
<br />installing underground wires and cables for street lighting in Antler Drive, Doe Drive and
<br />Hunter Drive; (iii) by reconstructing sections of the pavement base, preparing the surface and
<br />resurfacing, reconstructing and rehabilitating catch basins, manholes, curbs, sidewalks and
<br />driveway aprons, where necessary, in Bellewe Drive, Berkshire Drive, Croton Drive, David
<br />Drive, Devon Drive, Dorothy Drive, Glouchester Drive, Hampton Drive, Midvale Drive,
<br />Northern Avenue, Paisley Drive, Pompton Drive, Southem Avenue, Tudor Drive, Vincent Drive
<br />and Willet Circle; (iv) by grading, draining, widening, curbing, reconstructing the pavement
<br />base and surfacing, by constructing storm sewers and catch basins, where necessary, and by
<br />reconstructing driveway aprons in Butternut Ridge Road from a point approximately 100 feet
<br />east of its intersection with Kennedy Ridge Road westerly approximately 600 feet; and (v) by
<br />grading, draining, curbing, reconstructing the pavement base and surfacing, by reconstructing
<br />and rehabilitating catch basins, driveway aprons, sanitary sewers and sanitary sewer service
<br />connections, storm sewers, water mains and water service connections, where necessary, and
<br />by installing street lighting in Alden Drive, Dewey Road, Douglas Drive, Sweetbriar Drive from
<br />its intersection with Canterbury Road westerly approximately 900 feet, and Willet Road from
<br />its intersection with Evergreen Drive westerly approximately 450 feet; in each case together with
<br />necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto; as a part of a consolidated issue of
<br />$13,920,000 Various Purpose Improvement Notes, Series 1994C, dated June 22, 1994; and
